The Power of 3 - New Company Focuses on Success of Independent Real Estate Community
RISMEDIA, July 1, 2008—Executive Franchise Consulting, a consulting company that
focuses 100% of its attention and efforts on the real estate sales community, recently
launched its new website www.efccompany.com. Headed up by real estate and franchising
specialist George Barlow, the company says that instead of trying to be all things
to all people, EFC has purposely concentrated and specifically targeted Independent
brokerages, franchisees, and franchisors.
Founded in January, the company aims to accomplish three things:
- Provide franchisors with a roadmap to intelligent consultative selling and comprehensive
data to help them achieve the goals of their organization. This will be achieved
by working smart and diligently to expand the franchisor’s network operation through
logical and organic growth.
- Provide franchisees critical information prior to signing their renewal contracts
with their franchisor.
- Help independent brokerages analyze and locate the appropriate real estate franchise
to contract under.
To do this, the company says that franchisors who are looking to gain a competitive
edge—or stay competitive—need intelligent data to help them succeed. Without a roadmap,
an organization can easily flounder and not meet their expected revenue goals. EFC
provides consulting services along with exceptional data that is accurate, standardized,
and flexible—all that will assist with increasing incremental growth.
The company also says that it’s critical franchisees understand their options in
more detail before signing their renewal with their current franchisor. If the franchisee
plans on signing another five or ten year contract, its imperative they counsel
with EFC prior to signing. EFC says they will provide valuable information to help
them make the right decision.
What’s more, the company recognizes independent brokerages who have the desire to
take their company to the next level and need accurate coaching to help them through
the process. Many potential prospects don’t have the expertise behind them to understand
all the nuances found in a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), formally known as
a Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC). EFC will help independents to analyze
and understand the information given to them and work directly on their behalf and
provide options they may not be aware of.
According to Barlow, EFC entered into an agreement with Real Data Strategies (RDS),
to provide the best and most accurate data to assist franchisors at analyzing their
specific marketplaces. This specialized information will help franchisors better
understand real estate markets and the industry that serves them. RDS gathers data
from the Multiple Listing Services throughout North America, standardizes it, corrects
it when necessary, and creates objective, third-party analysis results that are
highly intuitive.
In addition, EFC brought on four highly skilled industry franchise and real estate
experts to help expand awareness and provide authoritative information and guidance
for our clients. Its advisory team includes Allen Mckay, Steve Goff, Mark Wolthuis,
and Jenni Wisniewski. Wisniewski is the co-chair of the Franchise & Distribution
Practice with the Denver office of KutakRock, LLP. During her ten years of practice,
Wisniewski has authored a number of articles and served as a guest lecturer on franchising
and trademarks. She is recognized as a Legal Eagle by Franchise Times magazine.
EFC says that it provides superior and unmatched service to its clients through
open dialogue, attention to detail, and follow up and follow through.
